The Importance of Gratitude

The Importance of Gratitude

Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away and if you’re like me, you’re finding it hard to concentrate and focus on your work.

That’s why instead of a regular blog post with digital marketing tips, I wanted to take a step back and record a special video for you to share what I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving.

I hope you’ll check it out.

I have many people to be thankful for — and that includes all of the wonderful people in the incredible Blue Kite Marketing community.

I just want you to know how grateful I am for your support. It’s not lost on me that there are hundreds or thousands of other marketing blogs that you could be reading. The fact that you read, share and comment here is incredibly meaningful to me. I want to make sure you know that.

Thank you. For everything.

You are why we do what we do each and every day. We love nothing more than to help you and your business reach new heights. And, we are truly honored that you spend your time with us here.

Who are you thankful for?

As I mentioned in the video, I hope you’ll not think about the “things” you are thankful for, but the people instead.

Ask yourself — who can you thank today? Who can you shower with love and appreciation for a job well done? Who has made a difference in your life?

I hope you’ll let them know.

After all, gratitude is one of the greatest gifts you can give. It doesn’t cost a thing, but it is so valuable.

And not only for the people who receive it. But, for you too.

After all, the happiest people are thankful people.

I hope you can remember to take the time to be thankful for the people around you this Thanksgiving and all year round.

Who are you most thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Grateful for you, Laura! Thanks for all you do to help small businesses and entrepreneurs.

P.S. Love the video. I was going to record one but I’m still in my yoga pants (haven’t done yoga in years) so a blog post it is. 🙂

Haha, I just have to say I LOVE your comment about yoga pants. When are they going to invent exercise clothes that do the working out for you? 🙂

Your work is awesome, by the way! Glad you are a Blue Kite partner. Happy Thanksgiving, Sarah!

Man! I think the website ate my comment! I swear I responded last week!

Anyway, I want you to know that I’m so grateful for your friendship and partnership! So glad to have you as part of the Blue Kite family. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words about the video too. Just my opinion, but I think you could totally rock some yoga pants in your video! People just don’t have to see that part! 😉

This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for my daughter, Sadie, who has been on the planet for two Thanksgivings now and has completely changed the way I experience the world. The gratitude I feel that I have this little pal just keeps increasing exponentially!

I’m thankful for my village, including my mom, who chases Sadie around on a regular basis so I can fly Blue Kite 🙂

And last but not least, Laura Click, who is a fearless leader and patient, generous, super-smart mentor. Very grateful to learn from you every day, Laura!

What a great list, Danielle. I’ve got to see that sweet daughter of yours one day. How is it I’ve never met her?!? It really feels like I know miss Sadie though. 🙂

I’m so grateful to have you as part of the team, Danielle. I learn a lot from you too! That’s what makes this team pretty darn special. So glad you’re part of it!!
