Why a New Show?
If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you might remember that I joined my good friend and colleague, Stanford Smith, as a co-host on The Pushing Social Podcast last fall.
It has been a great partnership! Not only have we loved the opportunity to talk and share ideas on a regular basis, but also it has been a great way for us to give our audience insights into how we think and work.
We believe we had been putting together some stellar content, but we wanted to take things up a notch and practice what we preach.
So, we pulled back to spend some time thinking through our strategy, target audience and goals for the podcast — things that we commonly tell our audience to do.
Through this process, it became clear we needed to develop a new brand for our show — one that would match the type of content we’re providing and the audience we want to reach.
Introducing: The Marketing Huddle
The Marketing Huddle (check out our shiny new website here!) perfectly captures Stan and me — marketers who work alongside organizations to coach them to success. The show gives listeners the chance to become part of our inner circle to get the same insider marketing tips we’re sharing with our clients every day.
