The Challenge:
One of the brands we’ve launched is our very own! We wanted to launch a podcast and standalone brand centered around helping people find the courage to live authentically and do the work they were created to do. We envisioned an entire brand built around the podcast that would allow for product development and other products or services.
Our Approach:
We went through a vigorous naming process to find a name that was catchy, bold, unique and available—both through podcast platforms and domain names.
We struck gold with Make It Brave. It’s catchy, short, memorable and not in use. We were even able to score the makeitbrave.com domain.
And working with our design team, we crafted a brand around tigers. Not only are tigers a more unique take on bravery, they are also the mascot for Laura’s alma mater, Mizzou. It’s all tied together with beautiful, bold hand lettering that can stand alone or with the artwork.
The result:
We have a strong and beautifully cohesive brand that turns heads. The strong brand foundation made it easy for us to then turn the artwork into a series of products, including posters, notecards, mugs and t-shirts.
